Home of the Milton Keynes Deaf Astronomical Society (MKDAS),
advancing the education of the public in the subject of Astronomy.
MKDAS is a thriving deaf society located in Emberton, near Olney.

Thursday 10th January – 7:00pm
BBC Stargazing Live 2013, showing on live tv programmes
on 8th, 9th & 10th January 2013 then we will have talks,
sharing about BBC Stargazing Live 2013 on Thursday 10th.

Friday 8th February – 10am till 6pm
Members will go to AstroFest at Kensington Town Hall,
Kensington, London W8 7NX. (afterwards – pub dinner)

Thursday 7th March – 7pm
Visiting to Midlands Deaf Astronomical Society for
exchanging, experiences and talks.

Saturday 6th – Saturday 13th April
Running Trips to AstroAdventure in North Devon for one week,
organised by British Deaf Astronomical Association.

Thursday 9th May – 7pm
Adventures in Moon & moons imaging.

Friday 17th May – 10am
Members will go to International Astronomy Show
at the Warwickshire Exhibition Centre.

Saturday 29th June – 10am
Day out at Jodrell Bank with BDAA members.
Meet us at the reception at 10am.
Tour the towering 75m-high Radio Telescope
at Lower Withington, near Macclesfield, Cheshire, Sk11 9DL.

July, August and September
No meeting events – Closed

Wednesday 2nd October ~ Wednesday 9th October
Running Trip to the Sky Camp
at Norfolk for one week, organised by
British Deaf Astronomical Association.

Thursday 3rd October – 7pm
Hunting the planets – Neptune and Uranus.

Thursday 7th November – 7pm
Stars of the Pleiades.
(A detailed look at the brightest stars in the cluster
known as Messier 45 or Seven Sisters.)

Saturday 7th December – 7pm
Christmas Festive Meals with BDAA members at
Harvester Eastlake, Foxmile, Milton Keynes, MK15 0YS.
