Friday 11th January – 7pm
Observing the Comet 8P/Tuttle
in the constellation of Cetus ~ the Sea Monster,
and the Meteor Quadrantid.
Thursday 7th February – 7pm
Observing the Deep Objects in the constellations
of Gemini, Canis Minor, Monoceros,
Orion, Canis Major and Lepus.
Friday 8th February
Members will go to AstroFest at Kensington Town Hall
(afterwards – pub dinner)
Friday 7th March
Away for the weekend to observe the
Messier Marathon at AstroAdventure in Devon,
organised by British Deaf Astronomical Association.
Friday 4th April – 7pm
Observing the Deep Objects, M65 & M66 in Leo.
(Other interesting galaxies in Leo are
NGC 3628, M95, M96, M105 and NGC 2903.)
Friday 9th May – 7pm
The waxing Crescent 5 days old Moon
in the Constellation of Gemini – The Twins.
(Moon’s disk Illumination :- 25%)
Saturday 10th May 2008 (12 noon – 6pm)
Trip to Royal Greenwich Observatory in London
June, July and August
No meeting events – Closed.
Wednesday 24th September ~ Wednesday 1st October
Running Trip to the Sky Camp at Norfolk for one week,
organised by British Deaf Astronomical Association.

Hunting the planets – Neptune and Uranus,
and some asteroids!

Milton Keynes Deaf Astronomical Society met up for the 2008 Christmas Festive with some other deaf astronomers from other regions. There were a great night to enjoy and shared their experience during the 2008 night skies occured.
