You could try to spot Venus above the Moon at 12 noon with a bit helping by binocular but you could see them by naked-eye.
(At 12 noon; Azimuth:- 210′ / Altitude:- +50`)
WARNING
Never look at or near the Sun through binoculars.
Permanent blindness will result even quickly look at the Sun.
