Moon and Saturn

140416-009 Conjunction between Moon and Saturn
Wednesday 16th thru Thursday 17th April 2014
The Moon and Saturn will make a close approach, passing under one degree of each other – visible for much of the night; in the east in the evening, and in the west in the pre-dawn sky.

At closest approach, the pair will be close enough to fit comfortably within the field of view of a telescope, but will also be visible to the naked eye or a through pair of binoculars.
