Jupiter’s double shadow transit

140316-008 JUpiter's double shadow transit
Sunday 16th thru Monday 17th March 2014
Both Jupiter’s moons will sit cross Jupiter’s centre line at 23:18 / 11.18pm on Sunday 16th March 2014.

There will be triple shadow transit (very rare) coming up on Tuesday 3rd June 2014 – very hard to observe visually due the western daylight but large telescope could be seen them.

Later of these events is well placed for observation from the UK on Saturday 24th January 2015 at 06:30am, after these then a triple transit won’t happen till in June 2032.
