MKDAS is a thriving deaf society located in Emberton, near Olney.

Thursday 30th January – 7:00pm
BBC Stargazing Live 2014, showing on live tv programmes
on 7th, 8th & 9th January 2014 then we will have talks,
sharing about BBC Stargazing Live 2014 on Thursday 30th.

Friday 7th February – 10am till 6pm
Running trip to AstroFest at Kensington Town Hall
in London (afterwards – pub dinner).

Understanding the Sky Atlas map and
how to target the celestial objects.

Thursday 27th February – 7pm
Hunting the Deep Sky Objects (DSO)
within the Winter Triangle.

Saturday 15th March
Running trip to British Deaf Astronomical Association’s
workshop and Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Thursday 27th March – 7pm
March’s binocular sights.

Saturday 24th April – 7pm
Asteroids; Dwarf planet 1 Ceres and Minor 4 Vesta
Minor 4 Vesta passes opposition.

Thursday 29th May – 7pm
Astronomy Talks:- Summer Sights.

Saturday 7th June – 10am~6pm
Running trip to International Astronomy Show (IAS) at
Warwickshire Exhibition Centre in Leamington Spa.

July – August
No meeting events

Monday 22nd September ~ Sunday 28th September
Running Trip to the Sky Camp at Norfolk for one week,
organised by British Deaf Astronomical Association.

Saturday 25th October – 3pm
Nearly two days old crescent Moon
occults Saturn at 16:00/4pm.

Thursday 20th November – 7pm
Astronomy Talks: Meteor Showers.
(The Leonid meteor shower reaches its peak – Nov 17/18)

Thursday 11th December – 7pm
