Messier 5
The Deep Sky Objects of Messier 5 is one of the finest Globular Clusters in the southern parts of the constellation – Serpens Caput (The Serpent) is visible through binoculars.

It is easy to see, but finding it can be much harder task, because there are not a lot of bright stars to support for star hopping – through binoculars it is seen as a bright spot of light with brighter central region, but it depends on observing conditions.

Visible from this month till in the end of August.

See the SkyMap for the deep Sky Object of Messier 5.
