Derekscope BSL Sign Video :- How Solar Eclipses work?

Hotels in Tahiti, the Cook Islands and Easter Island are fully booked for the event.

However, the eclipse is due to take place between 7am and 10.30am local time (5pm and 8pm GMT), forcing those on the islands to choose between two major global events: the eclipse for the astronomers and the World Cup 2010 for the footballer, both reach final today!

Air Tahiti, which runs inter-island services, is laying on 16 extra flights to the Tuamotus, while two cruise ships, a ferry and numerous sailing boats are also offering trips to see the spectacle:- this area would not see a similar eclipse before August 4, 2176 (166 years later).

A solar eclipse is a celestial phenomenon that does not occur very often, but they are fascinating to watch when they do. On those rare occasions when you are in the right place at the right time for a full solar eclipse, it is amazing! – my last seen the Total Solar Eclipse at Southern Turkey, was on Wednesday 29th March 2006, really pity that I was unable to go to Easter Island.
